The PricewaterhouseCoopers Canada Foundation is now accepting submissions for its Leadership Grants Program, which provides up to $225,000 in grants to small and medium-sized registered charities in Canada. The grants help to fund professional development opportunities for leaders in the charitable sector.
Submissions for 2013 will be accepted from September 16 at 9:00 a.m. until October 25 at 3:00 p.m.
Grants are made available in two categories:
“The program gives charities the flexibility to take advantage of a development opportunity that best meets their needs, says PwC corporate responsibility director James Temple. “The grants could fund anything from formal courses and conferences to informal learning experiences of the applicant’s own design that helps advance the applicant's professional development and organization’s goals.”
Since the launch of the Leadership Grants Program in 2006, the PwC Canada Foundation has awarded more than $1,000,000 in grants to over 400 recipients from across the country.
