1. What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Swimming in a warm ocean in the path of the setting sun.
2. What is the trait you most deplore in others?
Ugh - Hypocrisy, virtue-signaling, cruelty & bullying.
3. What is your greatest extravagance?
Living in Vancouver?
4. What is your current state of mind?
A little sad, quite nostalgic—but somehow all wrapped up in happiness.
5. What is your educational background?
Bachelor of Arts in International Relations & English Lit (or that might have been History – it was a while ago!) from University of British Columbia.
6. What was your first job?
In high school, I wore an orange polyester apron and served up pizza dogs at Willie Woozle in our local mall.
7. Which talent would you most like to have?
Singing, dancing, piano, languages – trying them all again for the 100th time. Wish me luck!
8. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
I’d grab two new knees if you have any available – and if I could travel back through time I might not pound as many pavements as I did.
9. What do you consider your greatest achievement(s)?
My kiddos, above all things. Helping to build our company into a place that people really, really love to work.
10. What is your current favourite charity?
The North Shore Hospice here in North Vancouver was absolutely amazing with both of my parents in recent years – and incredibly caring to us. There aren’t enough words to express how grateful I am to them.
